I'm low on time this week, so just a short and sweet email. :)
Well, we were basically stuck in the house for a nice 2 full days while Carnaval happened. But it's good. Me and Elder Smith practiced our empanada frying skills. They turned out well, but now we tease each other that we're both getting a gut hahaha.
We had a service project as a Zone on Saturday lifting boulders and bags of rocks and sand up a hill so a family could build their house. I was lame and forgot to take pictures, but oh well.
Some cool things this week were just seeing how we were able to help people come closer to Christ. We were teaching our Recent Convert about baptisms for the dead, and the look in his eyes when he realized he could do those ordinances for his family members just mad me and Elder Smith so happy. Another cool little thing was helping a New Investigator by talking to her about how the Gospel could bless their family, and how she could help her drug-addicted son. It's so incredible to see how just living the Principles I've been raised with blesses so many people's lives for them to learn, and I know it's true.
Have a fantastic week!
Love,
Elder Stolle
P.S. You all can enjoy these nice pictures of the 936758265474 Empanadas we made, as well as meeting up with other missionaries today at KFC for Pday. ¡Ciao!
